End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a binding legal contract between you ("User" or "you") and PATHLOCK ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the mobile application named PATHLOCK (including the game known as Pathlock), and all related services, features, and content (collectively, the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, or use the App.

01License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, PATHLOCK grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable limited license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes on mobile devices owned or controlled by you, strictly in accordance with the App's documentation and the terms of the platform stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Store).

02Restrictions on Use

You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Modify, adapt, improve, or create derivative works from the App.
• Use the App for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to, competitive gaming for profit without express written consent.
• Cheat, use automation software (bots), hacks, mods, or any unauthorized third-party software designed to modify or interfere with the Pathlock game experience or multiplayer matchmaking.
• Exploit the App for any unauthorized purpose or in any manner that violates any applicable law.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice (including copyright or trademark notices) of PATHLOCK.
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm other players in multiplayer modes.

03Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including but not limited to the Pathlock game mechanics, graphics, user interface, code, player avatars, cosmetic items, and all related intellectual property, are and will remain the exclusive property of PATHLOCK. This App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Your use of the App does not grant you any ownership rights in any of the content or assets you access.

04Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

The App operates on a freemium model and offers In-App Purchases (IAP) and Subscriptions for cosmetic items, rewards, and premium features.

• Billing: Payments are processed through react-native-purchases via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes incurred by you or anyone using an account registered to you.
• Virtual Items: Purchases of "premium features," "cosmetics," or "rewards" are purchases of a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use those features within the App. They have no "real world" value.
• Refunds: All sales are final. Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple and Google.

05Free Trial Terms

If the App offers a free trial for premium features:

• The trial will automatically convert into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• You may manage or cancel trials through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

06Updates & Maintenance

PATHLOCK may from time to time provide updates, patches, or bug fixes. These updates may be required to continue using the App, especially for real-time multiplayer functionality. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features of the App at any time without notice. We are not obligated to provide any maintenance or support for the App, except as required by applicable law.

07Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated by you or PATHLOCK.

• By You: You may terminate by deleting the App and all copies from your devices.
• By Us: We may terminate or suspend your access to the App (including multiplayer matchmaking) immediately, without prior notice, if you breach any term of this Agreement, including cheating or toxic behavior.
• Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will cease, and you must stop all use of the App.

08Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PATHLOCK disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. PATHLOCK does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

09Limitation of Liability

To the extent not prohibited by law, in no event shall PATHLOCK be liable for personal injury, or any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the App. In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount paid by you for the App or in-app purchases in the six (6) months prior to the claim.

10Platform Specific Clauses

10.1 Apple App Store

• Acknowledgement: You acknowledge that this Agreement is between you and PATHLOCK, not Apple.
• Maintenance: Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance and support services for the App.
• Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and have the right to enforce it against you.

10.2 Google Play Store

• This Agreement is consistent with Google Play's Developer Distribution Agreement. Users are granted a non-exclusive license to use the App on any Android device.

11Data Usage & Advertising

• Data Collection: By using the App, you acknowledge that PATHLOCK collects Device Information and Financial Information (via react-native-purchases), as well as pseudonymous product-analytics usage data (via PostHog, hosted in the European Union), to provide and improve the service, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
• Advertising: The App uses react-native-google-mobile-ads to display personalized advertisements. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of data by third-party advertisers as described in our Privacy Policy.

12Governing Law

This Agreement and your use of the App are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PATHLOCK is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
